Sometimes you just need a place to cool down a red hot out rage!
Sometimes you need a cool cave that’s real, low maintain and rearrange your mind and let loose some heavy heavy loads that you carried just to see how do people even do that?
Sometimes you need a garage to live in and fix yourself back up, just like your Papa taught you in that same cold place so long ago.
Sometimes you need to go to the classroom where that same man taught you the lessons about truth and fixing stuff.
Sometimes wisdom is found in the stand heat of places. Like a garage filled with boxes and dogs who love without boundaries.
Sometimes you need to go to that garage and play some cards with your friends and family? So they can watch you chill the fuck down. After years of living while folks be talking smack and berating your name.
Sometimes you just need to sit the hell down and watch and see who really rooting for you and wants to see you win.
Sometimes you just need to stop, smoke some pot, listen to music and talk with old friends who dare to visit you in a garage! And who leave inspired not knowing how you do it all?
Sometimes you need a ground zero to help you realize how grounded you really are in your own faith. While you remember and smell the smells of yesterday, when a man you called Papa, admires you. A man who paid his attention to this Be Linda.
Sometimes you need a cave.
What’s that saying?
For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
John 1 19-25
And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?” He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.” And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.” So they said to him, “Who are you? We need to give an answer to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?” He said, “I am the voice of one crying out in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way of the Lord,’ as the prophet Isaiah said.” …
He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him.
Sometimes you need a cave like David the king to rest from an insane king that you were anoint to succeed.
Sometimes you need a good dark place so you can really see. A place cold and dusty to plant the seed of new intentions and wait on spring.
