I identify with this woman struggle.

I also identify with her strengths. Orphan is not a word that was applied to my labeling. It was part of it of course. But was excluded from the narrative. Hidden. Covert. And an undertone. Always.

Until we face what’s hidden. We can’t forge new. That’s what I’m doing. Carving away all narratives that are not ultimately mine.

To expose. Who I have become as a result.
